Video of Sammy Davis, Jr.’s Amazing Tap Dancing
at The Palace Theater in New York City

Really an amazing performance by Sammy Davis, Jr. tap dancing at The Palace Theater in New York. His skills as a dancer, singer and actor were honed on the boards of vaudeville from an early age and took flight in the 1950’s when the world recognized his fantastic abilities.

He learned from all the people around him, absorbing everything around him like a sponge truly mastered just about every element of the entertainment field. Sammy never learned how to write, something that was deeply ashamed of, but he read everything he could get his hands on at a voracious pace.
